About Me

Professionally

I have over a decade of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on SEO. I’ve helped grow brands to millions of monthly visitors and millions of monthly dollars, all with bulletproof organic attribution.

I started off my career as a content writer but quickly shifted into a generalist role with a lean towards technical SEO. The agency was smaller and scrappier when I joined, so I was fortunate enough to wear many hats and learn many skills out of sheer necessity.

These days I’m a highly technical marketer and skilled webmaster. I’ve dealt with just about every facet of digital marketing over the past decade, including some crowd favorites like:

  • Large-scale domain migrations
  • Large-scale CMS migrations
  • Web property acquisitions
  • Complex redirect management
  • Channel attribution and revenue reporting systems

I’ve dabbled in most of what you’d expect from someone with this many years in digital marketing. I’ve built, sold, bought, and burned more affiliate marketing sites than I can count, grown and/or flopped various SaaS endeavours, and experimented with traffic generation through all channels just to stay sharp.

I stay up to date on SEO and AI news and am active in several digital marketing communities.

Personally

I love computers and consider myself a hobby coder. The recent wave of CLI coding agents has been a dream come true for me. I like to spend my free time:

  • Exploring new AI tooling
  • Running SEO tests
  • SSHed into Hetzner boxes
  • Tweaking my Arch desktop configs
  • Tinkering with my Unraid homelab

I also have a BA degree in English from Lafayette College and enjoy reading and writing.
